Google Turned Me Down!
So you’ve decided to give Google AdSense a try. You have your website ready to go and fill out the application. After a short wait you receive notice from Google AdSense saying that your application has been denied. Now what do you do?
Well, the answer to that question is simple, really. I know, that doesn’t make you feel a whole lot better, does it? But it’s true. More often than not, the reasons that applications are rejected are simple, fairly quick and easy-to-fix issues. Here’s what you need to do.
First, carefully review the rejection notification. Google AdSense always clearly states why your application was rejected. Just remember to do this with an open mind if you’re serious about using Google AdSense on your site. Although you may not be too pleased with them at this particular moment, they have these rules in place for a reason.
Once you’ve reviewed their reasons for rejecting your application it’s time to get to work on fixing any issues that caused the rejection. Perhaps your site was lacking content, or maybe it was the content itself that was the problem. Whatever the case may be, you need to fix it. If you’re lacking content get busy on adding more to your site. If your content was questionable you may need to tone it down a bit.
Once you’ve made what you believe to be the necessary repairs or alterations to your web site you may want to ask a friend or two to review it for you to make sure that you haven’t missed anything. Once everyone is satisfied that your site is in good shape it’s time to re-apply.
My best bit of advice for you is to carefully review
the rules and regulations set forth by Google AdSense and then take a careful look at your site before you go ahead and apply. This should take a lot of the guesswork out of what is and isn’t acceptable.
